General Information

KIDDZ was established to provide a high quality home-based early childhood education service. We are committed to offering quality education and care in the private homes of approved Educators. Our childcare is both flexible and affordable.

Care is arranged in Educator’s homes where there will be a maximum of four children, and never more than two children under two (however special arrangements for multiple births or siblings can be arranged.) Children respond well to small groups and are able to participate fully in all activities. With readily available adult input they learn quickly and easily. Educators are also able to continue with normal family activities such as shopping, library visits, and trips to the park, which provide invaluable learning experiences for children.

We use carefully selected Educators to provide your child’s care, and support them with regular visits, equipment, playgroups and ongoing professional development. Your Co-ordinator and Educator together will develop an educational programme that is developmentally appropriate for your child’s needs, using Te Whāriki - the Early Childhood Curriculum.

Our Educators welcome your child into their home, and are dedicated people, committed to enriching the environment of your child and making them feel part of their family

We are a chartered Early Childhood Service with the Ministry of Education and we work within the guidelines of the Homebased Care Order 1992 and the 1998 ammendments. If you would like to see a copy of our Charter we are happy to send it to you. However on joining our service you will receive a copy.
